An internationally oriented, family-run company, Luitpold Schott GmbH has been developing and producing fittings for the firefighting sector since 1932. In recent years, the portfolio has been expanded to include systems for mobile drinking water, fire fighting protection.
We are a family-run company and have been developing innovative fittings to protect human live worldwide since 1932.
Luitpold Schott is one of the world’s major addresses when it comes to Storz couplings, standpipes and backflow preventer in the fields of firefighting, drinking water, industry, shipbuilding and agriculture. The company headquarter in Speyer are home to the design, toolmaking, foundry, production, sales and administration departments. Our products are “Design Made in Germany” or “Made in Germany”.

Development, design, production, and sales from a single source. In-house design and toolmaking departments allow for quick response times. Our foundry allows us to produce castings quickly and in a wide range of variants. We then pass these benefits on to our customers in both quality and price

Orders are completed quickly and reliably, and delivery can take place at short notice: many of the more than 13,000 products in our warehouse are available immediately. Daily deliveries ensure our products reach our customers quickly.

The production of different couplings, hose fittings, standpipes and corresponding accessories makes up our day-to-day business. Production that meets the various national standards is both a challenge and an incentive for us. We manufacture couplings and fittings made of aluminium, aluminium-steel, brass, gunmetal and stainless steel.

We ensure quality in accordance with ISO 9001-2015. By participating in the GS 1 system, we make the advantages of this system available to customers when ordering goods. Participation in various committees gives us the opportunity to react quickly to changes in the interest of our customers.

We develop and manufacture products according to our customers’ specifications, even in small quantities. Due to the flat structure in our company, we are able to fulfil special requests quickly and reliably. Our sales department advises customers on their decisions and gives recommendations for the right product choice.

Luitpold Schott GmbH has been manufacturing hose fittings since 1932. Today, we manufacture couplings and fittings for the firefighting sector and mobile drinking water protection. To take advantage of synergy effects, the subsidiaries FIDE Engineering and Dietztechnik GmbH were integrated in 2016.
